Why I'm peeing my pants...alone. (Ironic, isn't it?)

I know, I know.
All this book talk is becoming dangerously close to tiresome (especially if you're also a facebook follower - either of YMFT's or of my own personal page. And if you're both? Well, 1. You rule...and 2. My apologies), but bear with me for just a little bit longer. Because even though I've told all of you about the book, I haven't been able to fully let the cat out of the bag and give it the full pimpin' it deserves.

But now, now I can.
And buckle up, friends, because the book has taken us on quite the wild ride over the past 36 hours and I'm so excited to be able to finally share it all with you, my awesome and loyal readers!

The book was actually published and available last Thursday (Feb. 28th), but we weren't planning to promote it until it was available across all platforms (not just Amazon).  However, once Amazon sent all of Jen's (of People I Want To Punch In The Throat fame) fabulous fans emails advertising this book, it started quickly climbing the charts. Like "Jessica Simson's pregnancy turnaround" type of quickly. So on Friday, we all let loose on our facebook pages.

And this is what happened (first) -

#1 in Hot New Releases.
I did a happy dance. It resembled the running man. I think.

Then a couple of hours later, this happened -

#1 Best Seller!
I wet myself. And it wasn't pee.

And by the time we woke up on Saturday, our book held the #1 spot on Amazon's Humor > Parenting & Families category in both books and Kindle, and the #2 spot on iTunes Top Paid Humor Books (right behind Tina Fey and a whopping 4 above Ellen).

Let me tell you, I got my ass in gear (after a celebratory Appletini, obviously).
Here's what I did, for you, my favorite people in all the world, to make your lives easier and ensure that your acquiring of this HILARIOUS #1 BEST SELLER is quick and painless.

If you want to buy the BOOK on Amazon, there are two ways to order. You can either click the link over there on the right >>> (the one above the giant Amazon box with the photo of the book, obviously) or you can order by clicking the right tab way up there on the top bar that says "buy my book". (It's like kindergarten here, kids).

On the new page, you'll find links to buy the book through Amazon (book or Kindle version), PayPal (if you'd like it signed by me, sealed with a kiss and sent directly to your door), Nook or Kobo (please for the love of God can somebody raise their hand if they own a Kobo?).

So see? There's no reason not to order your copy today. But if you do need one, here ya go -

Actual reviews. Don't believe me? Check it out on Amazon (and no, I didn't write them. All.)

Oh, and guess what?
I got to make my very own Amazon author page! You can view it right HERE. Makes me seem so legit. Which is odd and giving me weird dreams at night. Which is another post for another time.

Listen, I realize you might be a bit tired of all this "look at me!" mentality, but here's the thing. For a girl whose typical excitement is when the bag of Target popcorn she eats for lunch is freshly popped, this is all more than a bit overwhelming and unreal. A few months ago I never ever dreamed I'd be a part of something like this. And because you have been the driving force behind my motivation to keep writing, I of course want to share it with you. So thank you. Thank you for humoring me....thank you for continuing to read....thank you for supporting me. I appreciate it more than you know!

Now, go click on that link up there and get reading!

  1. If everyone in the entire world would just buy it, we could stop talking about it. Amiright?

  2. Congrats on the book success ...and as I raise my hand to indicate I do have a Kobo...may I explain that I am Canadian and Kobos seem to be more popular here, and by popular I mean cheaper...regardless I will purchase a hard copy of the book!

    1. Yes! I found a Kobo owner!! ;) I actually have no clue what a Kobo is (I'm assuming like a Kindle) so I probably should do a google search before I go spouting off next time. Thank You Thank You for ordering!! And surprise! If you go to the "buy my book" page there's now a link for Kobo and Sony Readers!!
