Clooney. 'Nuff said.

As I was just clicking through the Photos of the Day on People.com (it's what I often do instead of folding laundry) I came across a a photo of George Clooney (who is so in my top 5) along with this headline:

Clooney: The Way You Want Him

Umm...I'm not sure the way I want him is fit for viewing on People.com.

Anyway, because it's his birthday tomorrow, they'd put together a short photo timeline of his career. (Laundry? What laundry??)

Holy Hotness, Batman! Let's go!

I was a huge Facts of Life fan, but I honestly don't remember being that enamored with his handyman character.  Maybe it was the bushy eyebrows.  Or the mullet.
(Interesting to note , however, that 2 high-ranking members in my top 5 shared the same haircut.)
I clearly have a type.

I do remember his character 'Booker' on Roseanne, but not sure I really paid much attention to him.  Could be because by that time I had kind of lost what little interest I ever had in that show.
Okay, he seriously bears a striking resemblance to Husband ('circa 1990) in this photo.  See, I do have a type.
And Husband will be so happy that I have publicly compared him to Clooney that I bet he finishes folding that laundry.
It wasn't until he was Dr. Doug Ross that I was like, "Who the Holy Hotness is that??" along with every other breathing mammal on the earth - male and female.
HeLLo Doctor
And then, suddenly, he began to age.
Unlike any other human has ever aged before him.
It's not that he didn't age.
It's how beautifully he's done it.
So, so beautifully.
And I've got to wonder, are there medical texts or books of wizardry that contain entire chapters devoted to the mystery of the magical charm that this man exudes?
If not, there should be.
Because it almost defies modern science.
Ridiculous.
No lie, a couple of years ago there was a poster of him in People magazine (just like a grown up version of Tiger Beat) and as a joke (of course) I taped it up above my side of the bed. Later on I came into the room and Husband had readjusted it so it hung over the center of the bed.  For about a week I slept like a baby under the watchful, kind and mesmerizing eyes of Dr. Ross. We both did.

And even though he was a few pounds heavier and a bit rumpled in The Descendants, I could still see the classy and debonair man underneath.
Fantastic movie, btw, if you haven't seen it.
I'll take him either way. I'm not a Clooney snob.

So there ya go.
My Clooney infatuation has now been revealed.
Sending him Birthday wishes in my head.
It looks a lot like this.
